woobieoffWelcome to the Results Show, woobie fans! I can only assume you're all here, ready in your red carpet best to see our favorite woobies' tears, smiles, and more tears when the winners are announced!
Before we get to the results of the last championship round, however (because more than a week is not yet enough of a wait, apparently), I want to give some mentions and awards to some of the other woobies. There are two sections before we get to the final results - the 'winner' (or longest lasting) in the non-Championship mediums and some Woobie Consolation prizes.
The Champion Woobies for all four categories (anime; books and comics; movies, animation, games, and ‘other’; and TV) are obvious, but let’s not forget that every medium has a winner!
The Longest Lasting Woobies in each medium were...
Actually, despite the large font and bold, that title is mostly wrong, as most mediums are represented in the championship rounds below and will be announced then. It's only the Longest Lasting Woobies from the Movies and 'Other' categories that have not made it that far, and thus their longest lasting-ness will be announced here.
So, the winner of Longest Lasting Woobie from a Movie is...
Wall-E!
Here he is, so happy he can't help but frolic in the leaves! (That happy frolicking is probably what lost you your category, Wall-E, just saying - I don't see Vanyel, Will Graham, or any of the other woobies still in the contest doing much frolicking.)

The Longest Lasting Woobie from the 'Other' Category is...

Congratulations, Jean - although you're clearly in shock from having won anything, ever. Bless your all-singing-at-one-time little Woobie heart!

These are perhaps the Woobiest of all prizes in the Woobie-Off, given to the Woobies who were so. damn. close. Or really just NOT that close at all, depending - either way, I think you can agree they are all true to the spirit of Woobiness.
First up, The Official Loser (And Thus, In A Super-Way Woobie Way, The True Winner) Of The 2015 FFA Woobie Off!

This is awarded to the nominated Woobie who was out of the contest with the LEAST amount of votes. Although there were a small number of woobies in the very first round that were out with less then 10 votes, The Official Loser (And Thus, In A Super-Woobie Way, The True Winner) Of The 2015 Woobie Off award will actually have to be split between two 'Woobies', each with a mere FIVE VOTES.

Yukishiro Enishi, an Anime woobie from Rurouni Kenshin!
Look at him, unabashedly smiling! Looking downright happy! Is it any wonder this is as far as you got in the Woobie Off, Yukishiro, when the first ten results on google images of you feature two images of you smiling?!

The Woobie Who Received the Most Votes and Was Still Out Award*
*Note that this prize does NOT include the championship round, as several of the second-place Woobies did receive more votes than most winning woobies in other rounds due to the FINALNESS of the... finals.

who was voted out in Round Five (The Final Four), despite getting more than 75 votes.

Next is a special joint prize, given to the two Woobies who were the most popular pairing, and whose match-up was not only the closest match-up in FFA's Woobie Off history (short history, but history nonetheless), but also had by far the most votes of all the categories in all the rounds. The 2015 Woobie Off Commitment Award, aka "The Uni", as named by this knitted unicorn thing that Google assures me is called a "woobie", that I have - using my obvious creative skills - added the title to in the beeeautiful image you see below, is given to the Woobie Fan who has gone above and beyond for their chosen Woobie.
This Committed Fan wrote cited essays about her beloved Woobie and turned countless anon onto her canon (including yours truly). Although there were many fans of this particular Woobie who helped (special mention to Vanyel Recruitment Officer anon!), this year's Uni goes to...

First up is the Anime category, where Homura Akemi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) and Anthy Himemiya (Revolutionary Girl Utena) have held on to the end, defeating woobies bigger, meaner, and yet just not as woobie-ish as they.
The final results were close, but because all these rounds were SO close, the winner was clear...
with 52.6% of the votes...

Books and Comics
Next we turn to a shared category, which truly lived up to its name in the end. Although both Vanyel Ashevron (The Last Herald Mage Trilogy) and Cassandra Cain (DC Comics Preboot) have won the Longest Lasting Woobie in their respective categories (and a hearty congratulations to them both), there can be only one winner of the category.
This category had the only far and away winner of the championship, and so - with an astounding 73% of the vote....
The top Woobie from a Book or Comic is...

VANYEL ASHKEVRON!
This was a win predicted by many woobie fans, as Vanyel truly has quite the impressive woobie resume. I'm sure that Vanyel would like to give his utmost thanks to his campaign manager, who truly went above and beyond for this woobie. Give them a sad wave, Vanyel!
Of course, this leaves Cassandra Cain as runner up in this category, and the Longest Lasting Woobie from a Comic. Let's give her a round of applause as well!
Uh oh, she looks like the sort who might be interested in seeking vengeance for her lost title... you might want to watch out, Vanyel. Wouldn't want to add anything too dark to your already impressive woobie resume!

Movies, Animation, Games, and 'Other'
Unlike the above category, it wasn't possible for the championships for Woobies from Movies, Animation, Games, or 'Others' to represent all of the Longest Lasting Woobies in the category - hence the awards above. Nonetheless, there are two represented here - no matter the results of the championship voting, Zuko (Avatar) is the Longest Lasting Animation Woobie and Ellie (The Last of Us) is the Longest Lasting Woobie from a Game. Congrats to them both! (*hold for applause*)
Despite the wins each of them have in their medium, there can be only one category champion.
And so, it is my honor to announce - with a very close 52.3% of the vote...
The Top Movie, Animation, Game, or 'Other' Woobie is...

ELLIE from The Last of Us!
A special mention here goes to Ellie for not only winning the top Woobie in her medium and category but also for being the HARDEST nominee to find ANY image on Google of her looking even vaguely happy. This is literally the best I could do. And for that? A very legit round of woobie-applause, Ellie. Well done.
Poor Zuko - don't be too sad, you were very close to being the champion! Or perhaps that makes it worse? Maybe you are right, don't ever be happy.
